Synthetic Nucleic Acid Analogues in Research and Biomedicine

Nucleic acids are key molecules in all living organisms. Their synthetic analogues
have recently revolutionized biomedical sciences and clinical diagnostics.

We develop design software and synthetic approaches to prepare new nucleic acid analogues. In doing this, we aim at efficient diagnostics and therapy of cancer, viral/bacterial infections and autoimmune diseases.

Synthetic nucleic acids
• Rational design and synthesis
• Applications in diagnostics and     therapy of human diseases
