The NanoChemistry group at DTU Chemistry coordinates a three-year EU Euro/China Staff exchange programme, 2013-2015 on the theme
Molecular scale electrochemistry and non-traditional electrochemical materials science
Acronym ELECTRONANOMAT
The program involves shorter and longer scientific exchange visits of experienced (ER) and early stage researchers ESR), tutorials, and workshops. Participating institutions are four reputed academic institutions in China and four reputed institutions in Europe.

The following mutual visits and scientific program involving the NanoChemistry group at DTU Chemistry has so far been accomplished or is presently in action:
China to DTU Chemistry:
Associate professors Wei Yan (ER, SHU), Jiawei Yan (ER, XMU), Xiuzhen Qian and Chongjun Zhao (both ER, ECUST), Professor Kake Zhu and Assistant professor Zhiting Liu (both ER, ECUST) to DTU
DTU Chemistry to China:
Professor Jens Ulstrup and Associate professor Jingdong Zhang, DTU both ER, several visits to SHU, CIAC, ECUST and XMU on science and coordination themes.
Ph.D.-student Christian Engelbrekt, DTU (ESR) to SHU, August-October, 2013
Ph.D.-student Gunnar Olsen, CIAC, August-September, 2014
Ph.D.-student Nedeljko Šešelj, XMU, April-June 2015
Professor Shuai Yuan and Dr. Guorong Chen, SHU will pay a one month visit each to DTU Chemistry, September-October 2015.
The other European groups are engaged in parallel ER and ESR exchange visits.
The consortium organized a two-day Workshop July-August, 2013 held at the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters. A second Workshop was held at Nano Science and Technology Center, SHU in October, 2014 organized by Professor Liyi Shi and co-workers and a third workshop, held at CIAC in August 2015, organized by Professor Li Niu and Associate professor Donxue Han.
A one-week undergraduate summer course,
Nanoscale and Molecular Scale Science in Chemistry and Biology
was given in at Nano Science and Technology Center, SHU hosted by SHU and with Professor Jens Ulstrup and Associate professor Jingdong Zhang, DTU, both ERs as tutors.
Other mutual visits of both ESR and ER scientists are scheduled for the rest of 2015.
