The Machineshop is located at building 206 and is responsible for the production and development of equipment for the users of DTU Chemistry.
The Machineshop have 2 rules for getting work done:
- All returned equipment must be cleaned.
- A work slip must be prepared.
The work at the Machineshop includes:
- Development of research equipment / prototypes
- Purchase of equipment / materials in connection with customer orders / tasks
- Safety equipment / bottle handling and installation of these
- Repair of machines
- Advice on equipment and materials
- Maintenance and repair of vacuum pumps, centrifuges, rotary evaporators, rotary agitators, scales
